The ET bucket elevators are used for the vertical transportation of cereals, meals and pellets.
They are built in conformity with the Machinery directive 2006/42/EC and on specific request they can be manufactured for use in potentially explosive atmospheres according to the directive 94/9/EC.
Product elevation is by means of buckets fitted on a loop-welded rubber-covered fabric belt which runs inside hot galvanised modular elements bolted together.
The product is loaded at the foot of the elevator and unloaded from the head thanks to the centrifugal force of the belt.
The bucket elevator, made up of hot galvanised modular elements bolted together, includes:
• hot galvanised removable upper head; for the 75-23 and 75-33 models we also supply a wear-resistant protection for the PEHD spiral
• flat belt driving pulley with vulcanized rubber covering; keying on steel shaft; shaft fitted on bearings on straight cast-iron supports
• motorization with direct coupling to head with orthogonal-axis gear motor and integrated anti-reverse device; gear motor fitted with reaction arm
• hot galvanised steel pipes for outdoor use consisting of modular elements bolted together; a hot-galvanised steel pipe is fitted to each elevator which can be opened for maintenance of buckets and belt accessorized with an inspection hatch
• steel or high-resistance plastic buckets with high filling coefficient with fastening bolts
• anti-oil rubber belt with ultimate tensile strength adequate to the height and the capacity of the elevator
• stretching of the belt by means of a screw tensioner installed on the foot of the elevator
• foot hot-galvanised to modular elements bolted together with no. 2 inspection hatches, 1 feeding nib, return pulley (“crossbar” type) keyed to the steel shaft fitted on bearings and seal supports.
• inspection platform and access ladder with protections and anchoring system
• wind-braces between elevators in hot-galvanised angle bars
• loading and unloading hoppers
• belt skid control system
• rev control on foot shaft
• anti-choke device on head
• explosion prevention membranes and chimneys.
• antiwear covering on the PEHD spiral (included only in models 75-23 and 75-33)
• dust extraction systems near the product loading and unloading areas
• magnets on the loading hopper
